The Soliwald tunnel has been equipped with an escape gallery. The gallery is approximately 200 metres long and leads from the middle of the tunnel to an exit portal. It is situated at the Aenderdorfgasse.
Construction work had started in spring 2019. The tunnel breaktrough took place in november 2019. The Gallery was put into operation at the end of 2020.
