Protection of databases

In close cooperation with our hosting provider, we make every effort to protect the databases as effectively as possible from third-party access, data loss, misuse or falsification.

Server log files

When our website is accessed, the following data are saved in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and any data relating to the operating system or browser.

These data form the basis for anonymous statistical analyses so that we can identify trends that enable us to correspondingly improve our range of services. The Federal Mail and Telecommunications Monitoring Act stipulates that transmitted communication data must be retained for six months.

During each visit to our website a session cookie is generated that serves the purpose of ensuring that your browser only receives the data it requests. Session cookies do not collect any personal data. They are deleted when the browser is closed and do not leave any traces.

You have the option of configuring your browser so that you can receive information about the generation of cookies, only accept them upon each visit, accept them in specific cases only, or generally exclude them. You can also activate their automatic deletion when you close your browser. Deactivating cookies can restrict the functionality of our website.

Google Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service, Google Analytics. The provider of this service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text data that are stored on your computer and are used for analysing your usage of our website.

As a rule, the data generated by the cookie concerning your usage of our website are transferred via a server to Google in the USA, where they are stored. In the case of activation of IP anonymisation on this site, within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area your IP address is abbreviated by Google. The full IP address is only transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases.

On behalf of the operator of this site, Google will use the data in order to analyse your usage of it, compile reports on online activities and provide other services to the site operator based on the usage of the site and the Internet.

The IP address transmitted from your browser via the Google Analytics service is not amalgamated with other Google data.
